The temporary venue is expected to begin operating during the summer of 2026 and will serve as an interim gaming destination while the tribe develops a permanent casino complex on its reservation land in East Texas. Tribal officials said the site will feature electronic gaming machines, food and beverage services, and live entertainment offerings aimed at both local visitors and tourists traveling through the region.
Leaders of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe described the project as part of a broader economic development strategy designed to strengthen tribal revenues, create employment opportunities and expand tourism activity near the reservation.
