GR8 Tech Pits Crypto Payment Speed Against Race Car at Donington Park

GR8 Tech has put the transaction speed of its crypto-focused iGaming platform to a real-world test, staging a head-to-head challenge between a cryptocurrency payment and a racing car at the UK’s Donington Park Circuit.

The Cyprus-headquartered technology supplier used the event to demonstrate the payment capabilities of its GREAT_CRYPTO TURNKEY solution. During the challenge, a crypto transaction was initiated as a car began its lap of the circuit, with the digital payment completing around 15 seconds before the vehicle reached the finish.

GR8 Tech positioned the exercise as a practical demonstration of payment performance rather than relying solely on technical benchmarks. The company is targeting operators serving crypto-oriented gambling audiences, where transaction speed can directly affect the time between depositing funds and beginning play.

GREAT_CRYPTO TURNKEY combines sportsbook and casino infrastructure with built-in cryptocurrency payments and a multi-wallet system. Players can manage traditional currencies and more than 15 cryptocurrencies from the same account instead of using separate payment environments.

GR8 Tech says the platform currently processes more than one million crypto transactions per day and maintains 99.99% uptime. The supplier also markets the solution as a way for operators to reduce payment costs, claiming transaction fees can be cut by as much as 70%, while cryptocurrency transactions remove chargeback exposure because completed blockchain transfers cannot normally be reversed. Those figures are company-reported performance and commercial claims.

The Donington Park demonstration forms part of GR8 Tech’s wider effort to expand its crypto proposition alongside its sportsbook, casino and broader turnkey products. The company’s current portfolio includes GREAT_TURNKEY, GREAT_CRYPTO TURNKEY, GREAT_SPORTSBOOK and casino aggregation services.

For GR8 Tech, faster payments are intended to reduce friction at one of the most important points of the customer journey. Chief Sales Officer Yevhen Krazhan said the Donington Park test was designed to show operators the technology functioning under a simple, measurable challenge, with the company arguing that shorter transaction times can help players move more quickly from funding an account to betting.
