Merkur Bets Begins European Platform Shift With EveryMatrix Denmark Launch

Merkur Bets has completed the migration of its Danish betting operations to EveryMatrix technology, marking the first stage of a broader plan to move several European markets onto a single omnichannel platform.

The Merkur Group-owned operator is now running its Danish retail betting network, online sportsbook and online casino through EveryMatrix’s turnkey technology. The deployment covers more than 1,000 sports betting terminals located across over 230 betting shops, alongside the company’s digital operations.

Denmark is the first market to complete the transition, with Merkur operations in Austria, Germany and Belgium scheduled to follow. The wider project is designed to place the group’s betting brands on a common technology infrastructure, allowing Merkur to streamline operations and maintain a more consistent product setup across its European footprint.

The Danish business previously operated under the Cashpoint brand but was renamed Merkur Bets in September as part of the group’s effort to align the market with its wider European betting identity. The technology migration and rebrand form part of the same strategy to consolidate Merkur’s products and platforms across multiple regulated jurisdictions.

EveryMatrix and Merkur Group originally announced their Danish partnership in March 2026. Under the agreement, EveryMatrix was selected to replace Cashpoint’s existing technology with an omnichannel system capable of supporting retail betting, online sportsbook operations and casino products. Cashpoint had begun searching for a new technology provider in early 2025.

The agreement also included the introduction of an online casino offering for the Danish business. At the time of the original announcement, the partners planned to complete the platform transition during 2026, alongside the Cashpoint-to-Merkur Bets rebranding.

EveryMatrix said the completed Danish integration demonstrates its ability to manage large omnichannel deployments combining extensive retail estates with digital sportsbook and casino operations.

For Merkur Group, the launch provides the technological foundation for the next phase of migrations. Once the planned rollouts are completed, the group expects its operations in Denmark, Austria, Germany and Belgium to benefit from greater platform consistency, scalability and operational synergies through a shared EveryMatrix infrastructure.
