EDGE Markets has secured $29.2 million in Series A funding as the company looks to strengthen the financial infrastructure supporting the rapidly expanding prediction market sector. The investment round was led by CoinFund and included backing from Indicator Ventures, Mantis VC, StepStone Group, and Bullpen Capital.
The New York-based fintech firm focuses on providing payment, banking, and settlement solutions for prediction market operators and participants. With prediction markets gaining increasing attention from traders, investors, and regulators, EDGE believes demand for specialized financial services will continue to grow across the sector.
According to the company, the newly raised capital will be used to expand its product offerings and improve the flow of funds between exchanges, liquidity providers, and market participants. EDGE aims to address some of the operational challenges facing prediction markets, including payment processing, account funding, and transaction settlement.
As part of its broader expansion strategy, the company recently introduced EDGE Pro, a platform designed to provide high-throughput accounts and real-time deposits for regulated prediction market exchanges. It also launched EDGE Connect, a payment solution created specifically for businesses operating in the prediction and gaming sectors. These products are intended to streamline financial operations while supporting larger transaction volumes and faster movement of capital.
The funding arrives during a period of strong momentum for prediction markets. Platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket have attracted growing user activity, particularly around major political, economic, and sporting events. As participation increases, infrastructure providers are becoming an increasingly important part of the ecosystem.
Industry analysts view the investment as a sign of rising confidence in the long-term future of prediction markets. Rather than focusing on consumer-facing platforms, EDGE Markets is positioning itself as a key provider of the underlying financial systems needed to support the industry’s next stage of growth.
With fresh capital in place, the company plans to expand its services, strengthen relationships with regulated exchanges, and develop new tools designed to improve efficiency, liquidity, and accessibility across prediction markets worldwide.
