Liverpool have completed the signing of France international Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal that could eventually reach £123m.
The Premier League side will pay £106m up front for the 23-year-old, with a further £17m tied to potential add-ons. PSG had initially placed a valuation of around £145m on the forward before the clubs reached an agreement.
Barcola has signed a five-year contract at Anfield and will wear the number 29 shirt. He becomes Liverpool’s fifth signing of the summer after Victor Munoz, Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo and Ifeanyi Ndukwe.
The French attacker is primarily used on the left wing but is also capable of playing in several positions across the front line, giving manager Andoni Iraola another option as Liverpool reshape their attack.
His arrival comes at an important point for the squad following Mohamed Salah’s departure and Hugo Ekitike’s long-term injury. Cody Gakpo could also leave before the transfer window closes, increasing the need for additional attacking depth.
Barcola arrives after another productive season with PSG, recording 13 goals and seven assists across 49 appearances in all competitions.
He also played a significant role for France at the 2026 World Cup, featuring in all eight of the national team’s matches. Barcola scored three times during the tournament as France progressed to the third-place play-off.
The forward originally joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 for a reported £38.5m and went on to collect a major haul of trophies in Paris. His honours include three Ligue 1 titles, two Champions League trophies, two French Cups, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
Liverpool’s overall financial commitment also includes the solidarity payment PSG are required to pass on to Lyon under the terms connected to Barcola’s move to the French capital three years ago.
Barcola now joins Liverpool on a long-term deal with the club looking to reinforce its attacking options and challenge for major domestic and European honours.
