Philippines-based gaming services specialist Tecnet Asia Inc. is reporting a sharp rise in business activity, fuelled by growing demand for technical support services across multiple Asian gaming markets. Founder and president Suat Sirin said the company’s growth has exceeded internal expectations, positioning Tecnet for sustained expansion in the years ahead.
Headquartered in Clark, a major leisure and gaming hub northwest of Manila, Tecnet has increasingly become a critical infrastructure partner for land-based casino operators. Rather than relying solely on hardware distribution, the company has built its momentum around service delivery, embedding itself deeply into day-to-day casino operations.
Multi-jurisdiction footprint reduces market risk
Tecnet’s operations now span several regulated and emerging gaming jurisdictions. In addition to the Philippines, the company provides services in Sri Lanka, Goa, Nepal, and Vietnam. This geographic spread has allowed Tecnet to balance regulatory and commercial cycles, reducing dependence on any single market while maintaining a steady pipeline of projects.
Sirin noted that this diversification strategy has been central to the company’s resilience, particularly as different Asian markets move at varying speeds in terms of casino development and regulatory maturity.
From equipment sales to service-led growth
Although Tecnet was originally founded in Singapore, Sirin relocated the company’s core operations to the Philippines in 2016 after identifying stronger long-term growth prospects in the local gaming sector. That decision has since reshaped the company’s revenue mix.
While Tecnet continues to distribute gaming machines and hospitality equipment, technical support and maintenance services have become its largest revenue driver. According to Sirin, service delivery is what anchors long-term client relationships. By supporting and maintaining the equipment it supplies, Tecnet ensures recurring engagement with operators and positions itself as a default partner for future upgrades and expansions.
Expanding portfolio of global partners
Tecnet’s growth has been reinforced by a widening network of international suppliers. In 2023, the company secured a distribution agreement with Novomatic AG for the Philippine market. It also represents Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd, alongside a range of specialist vendors including APEX Pro Gaming, Patir Casino Seating, and Miwa Lock Co Ltd.
At the start of 2025, Tecnet further strengthened its position by being appointed the official Philippine distributor for NRT Technology Corp.. This partnership expanded Tecnet’s presence within Manila’s integrated resorts, where it now supports NRT kiosks and a wide range of gaming equipment.
The company also maintains service agreements with Casino Filipino properties operated by Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp, reinforcing its status as a full-spectrum service provider in its core market.
Building technical infrastructure across Asia
Outside the Philippines, Tecnet has been actively investing in regional infrastructure. Tecnet Sri Lanka has emerged as a key support hub for local casino operators, recently completing the sale of more than 60 gaming machines to three properties while also upgrading casino management systems.
A major component of this effort is the rollout of the MyACP casino management system. Tecnet successfully implemented MyACP at Bally’s Casino Colombo this year and has lined up additional installations across emerging Asian markets, where it serves as both distributor and technical support provider.
Positioned for sustained growth
By combining long-term distribution agreements with a strong service-first operating model, Tecnet has carved out a durable niche in Asia’s land-based gaming sector. Sirin emphasised that the company’s value lies not just in the brands it represents, but in the end-to-end support delivered to each customer.
With new casino projects coming online and existing venues seeking system upgrades, Tecnet’s management remains confident that the company is well positioned to capitalise on the region’s evolving gaming landscape and rising demand for reliable technical partners.
