West Ham Sign Manor Solomon From Tottenham in £5m Deal

West Ham United have added Manor Solomon to their squad after completing a permanent transfer for the winger from Tottenham Hotspur.

The 27-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Hammers, who are preparing for their first Championship campaign since the 2011-12 season. While the club did not officially reveal the transfer fee, the deal is understood to be worth around £5m.

Solomon becomes West Ham’s third permanent arrival of the summer and will wear the number 10 shirt as the club reshapes its squad following relegation from the Premier League.

The Israel international spent last season on loan at Fiorentina, making 19 appearances for the Serie A side. His Tottenham career had previously included temporary spells with Leeds United and Villarreal after he joined Spurs in 2023.

Solomon arrives with considerable Championship experience after playing an important role in Leeds’ promotion-winning 2024-25 campaign. West Ham will hope he can make a similar impact as they target an immediate return to the Premier League.

The winger has earned 49 caps for Israel and previously enjoyed a successful spell with Shakhtar Donetsk, winning three domestic titles during his time in Ukraine. He later moved to Fulham on loan before beginning the next stage of his career in north London.

His arrival continues West Ham’s summer recruitment drive. Venezuela midfielder Keiber Lamadrid and former Netherlands defender Joel Veltman have already joined the club on permanent deals.

The Hammers have also overseen several significant departures following relegation. Winger Crysencio Summerville has moved to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, while midfielder Mateus Fernandes has joined Tottenham.

Solomon will now be expected to provide creativity and attacking depth as West Ham attempt to rebuild quickly and secure promotion back to the top flight at the first opportunity.
