OpenBet Promotes Nikos Konstakis to CEO as Jordan Levin Moves to Chairman

Sports betting technology provider OpenBet has announced a leadership transition that will see company president Nikos Konstakis become chief executive officer at the end of 2026, while current CEO Jordan Levin moves into the chairman role.

The appointment follows more than eight years of Konstakis working across OpenBet’s senior management team and comes as the company expands its sportsbook and lottery technology operations.

Konstakis has played a central role in managing OpenBet’s commercial activities, operational performance and strategic development. His previous positions include chief product officer, giving him extensive experience across the company’s technology portfolio and customer relationships.

As CEO, he will take responsibility for OpenBet’s overall strategy, daily operations, commercial growth and product development. His responsibilities will also include advancing the company’s technology capabilities and strengthening its services for sportsbook operators and other customers worldwide.

Levin, who has led OpenBet since 2021, will remain involved in the business as chairman, focusing on its long-term direction and supporting the incoming chief executive.

The outgoing CEO expressed confidence in Konstakis, highlighting his understanding of OpenBet’s technology, customers and operations. Levin also credited him with helping shape the company’s business priorities and operational strategy throughout his tenure.

Konstakis acknowledged Levin’s contribution to OpenBet’s development and said his immediate priorities would include building on the company’s existing customer relationships, improving operational execution and pursuing further growth opportunities.

The leadership transition follows several significant developments for OpenBet.

In 2025, the company completed a management buyout from Endeavor Group Holdings, securing private investment led by entertainment executive Ariel Emanuel alongside participation from OpenBet management.

OpenBet has also announced plans to acquire OmniLogic, a sportsbook and lottery technology provider. The proposed transaction is intended to strengthen OpenBet’s presence in the international lottery sector and expand its relationships with operators affiliated with the World Lottery Association.

The company recently reported processing more than 175 million bets during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with total stakes reaching approximately $3 billion.

Konstakis will assume executive leadership as OpenBet continues developing its betting technology offering and pursuing expansion across the global sportsbook and lottery markets.
