FanDuel’s casino division is preparing for a leadership change after Asaf Noifeld announced that he will step down from his role as Managing Director of Casino, bringing an end to more than four years leading the operator’s iGaming business and roughly 12 years within the broader Flutter Entertainment group.
Noifeld confirmed his departure in a public statement, describing the move as the beginning of a new chapter in his career. While he did not reveal details about his next role, he said he plans to remain with the company for several more months to help ensure a smooth transition before officially leaving later this year.
The executive joined FanDuel in 2022 after spending more than eight years with PokerStars, another Flutter-owned brand. Before moving to the United States, he held senior leadership positions at PokerStars, including Managing Director of Casino, and played a key role in developing and expanding its online casino operations. Earlier in his career, he also worked at 888 and software company Comverse.
At FanDuel, Noifeld was tasked with accelerating the company’s casino ambitions in North America. Under his leadership, FanDuel Casino strengthened its position in the rapidly growing US iGaming market and emerged as one of the sector’s leading operators. According to Flutter, FanDuel held approximately 28% of US online casino gross gaming revenue by the end of 2025, while the wider FanDuel brand maintained leadership across online betting and gaming.
The momentum continued into 2026. Flutter reported that US iGaming revenue increased 19% year-on-year during the first quarter, reaching $564 million. The company also recorded a 10% rise in average monthly casino players, helping drive overall growth across its US business.
Reflecting on his journey, Noifeld said his years with Flutter shaped both his professional and personal development. He highlighted the opportunity to work across multiple countries, teams, and brands, including several relocations and his eventual move to the US to join FanDuel. He also credited colleagues and leadership teams throughout the organization for helping build successful businesses and lasting relationships.
FanDuel has not yet announced who will succeed Noifeld as head of its casino division.
