IGT has appointed veteran finance executive Adam Chibib as its next chief financial officer as the gaming technology group continues the operational and financial transformation of its combined business.
Chibib will take up the role on November 1, 2026, subject to the required regulatory approvals. He will replace Fabio Celadon, who will remain CFO until October 31 before moving into an advisory position through December 31 to assist with the transition.
The incoming CFO brings more than 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience spanning public companies, private equity-backed businesses and high-growth technology firms. According to IGT, Chibib has participated in six successful company exits during his career.
Most recently, he served as CFO of Raptor Technologies. The company was acquired by Warburg Pincus in January 2026 after undergoing a significant transformation while backed by Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity.
Chibib also has extensive experience in the gaming sector. As president and CFO of Multimedia Games, he helped the company double revenue and triple profitability while its market capitalization grew from about $47 million to more than $1 billion. Multimedia Games was subsequently acquired in a transaction valued at $1.2 billion.
He later served as chairman of the board and chair of the audit committee at playAGS, remaining in those positions through the gaming supplier’s acquisition in 2025. Earlier in his career, he held financial leadership positions at Self Financial, NetSpend and several technology companies.
IGT CEO Hector Fernandez said Chibib’s combination of public-company, private-equity and gaming experience fits the company’s current priorities, particularly efforts to improve execution, financial discipline and cash-flow generation. Chibib, meanwhile, said his focus will include strengthening financial and operational controls and directing capital toward IGT’s highest-priority growth opportunities.
The appointment comes during a major restructuring period for IGT. The current company was formed in July 2025 when Apollo-managed funds completed the acquisitions of the former IGT Gaming & Digital business and Everi Holdings in an approximately $6.3 billion transaction. The privately held combined group operates under the IGT name and is organized around Gaming, Digital and FinTech operations.
Celadon had been selected as CFO of the combined enterprise as part of the original transaction structure and has spent more than two decades across IGT and its predecessor businesses. IGT said he played an important role in guiding the organization through substantial corporate change before the latest leadership transition.
